The Elna eXcellence 782 computerized sewing machine is packed with advanced features that make quilting and sewing easier, faster, and more creative. Accurate Stitch Regulator (ASR)
The Accurate Stitch Regulator comes standard with the Elna 782 and includes four presser feet for free motion quilting and ruler work. It adjusts to how fast the fabric moves, making free motion stitching smooth, easy, and consistent.
Free Arm, Onboard Storage
Remove the extension table to use the free arm, which extends nearly 6 inches to the left of the needle for easy hemming of pant legs, sleeves, and other round projects. The extension table also includes two built in storage compartments for bobbins, presser feet, and small tools, plus extra presser foot storage on top of the machine near the bobbin winder.

High Def Color LCD Touchscreen
Use the easy to read screen to choose stitches, designs, and adjust stitch width and length. The display shows your selected stitch and the recommended presser foot, and you can save stitch combinations or monograms using the built in 3MB memory or a USB drive.
9 LED Lights, 1 Retractable Light
The Elna 782 features a powerful lighting system with nine bright LED lights placed in four key areas to fully illuminate your workspace. It also includes a retractable head light that you can pull out for extra brightness and slide back in when you are finished.
Built-In Smart System Needle Threader (V2)
The Smart System Needle Threader is designed for precise, accurate threading in just a few simple steps. It eliminates the frustration of threading by hand so you can start sewing faster. Please note, the needle threader is not compatible with a twin needle.
One-Step Needle Plate Conversion
With the push of a button, Elna’s smart system lets you switch needle plates quickly and easily. The Elna 782 includes a straight stitch plate, a zigzag plate, and a professional HP needle plate for added precision on detailed projects.
The Elna eXcellence 782 has a Drop-In Bobbin
Bobbin changes are quick and easy with the drop in bobbin system. Just place the bobbin in, guide the thread through the slot, and the 782 is ready to sew.
Extra-High Presser Foot Lift
The Elna eXcellence 782 features an extra high presser foot lift to make sewing thick or layered fabrics easier. You can raise the presser foot about 6mm higher than normal, giving you more room to work with bulky materials like denim and fleece without forcing them under the foot.
The Elna eXcellence 782 has a Knee Lifter
The knee lifter lets you raise and lower the presser foot using your knee, so both hands stay free to guide the fabric while you sew.
Elna eXcellence 782's Drop Feed
The Elna eXcellence 782 includes a built in lever that automatically lowers the feed dogs. This makes it quick and easy to switch to free motion quilting without manual adjustments.
Dual Feed and Dual Feed Plus System
Elna’s Dual Feed Plus System moves the top and bottom fabric layers together for smooth, even feeding. This is especially helpful when sewing thin or slippery fabrics like knits, jersey, vinyl, or pleather that tend to shift while stitching.
Floating Mode

You also get three full fonts with upper and lower case letters, numbers, symbols, and punctuation for creative lettering and monogramming.
